Overview

Kids Aerial Gym is our newest program that integrates aerial arts with kids Gym. It's a new experience and a great program in stimulating the sensory system, body awareness, social and emotional needs and self regulation. Our Classes incorporate fun mindful movement up in the air with our 3 main apparatus, Aerial sling, Fitness pole and Aerial hoop.

Our  classes are designed specific to a child or teens growth stage, we actively encourage parents to be involved in the classes either participating or helping their child as they learn these new aerial techniques. Each week the kids will build upon the previous week, learning new poses, mindfulness techniques, breathing tools and creative ways to practice Gym. In each of our limited sized classes students will spend one-on-one time with the instructor and not be another number in the class. 

KIDS AERIAL GYM (AGES 5-11)

In this 45 minute class your child will be spinning and tumbling through our 3 main apparatus, Aerial sling, Fitness pole and Aerial hoop.

They will learn poses, games and breathing exercises exploring the apparatus with easy poses, activities and relaxation. This class integrates the apparatus or may spend the entirety focused on one discipline - parent/carer participation is encouraged as its a great bonding experience. Our instructors have been certified to work with children. Class sizes are small so there is plenty of student teacher interaction. 

KIDS AERIAL SLING (AGES 5-11)
In this 45 minute class your child will learn and explore new poses in the aerial slings and each week will build on what was learned the week prior. They will learn fundamental Aerial Yoga asanas, breathing exercises exploring the apparatus with sequences, tumbles and relaxation They will have time to explore, create and play in the hammocks, both structured and independently. Each student will have one-on-one time with the teacher to work with their specific needs.
Parents are encouraged to stay for the class, its a great bonding experience. Our instructors have been certified to work with children. Class sizes are small so there is plenty of student teacher interaction.

TEEN LYRA (12-17)

In this 60 minute class your teen will learn and explore new poses in the aerial hoop. Aerial hoop (or Lyra) is an incredible fitness workout that will increase core and upper body strength, balance and self-confidence. Each class includes a comprehensive strength conditioning component and students will learn a range of climbs, inversions and artistic poses on the hoop. During the term they will learn sequences to make their new skills flow seamlessly. Repeating students will have the opportunity to learn a choreographed aerial routine to perform at our end of term Skills Showcase.

Parental permission will be required in order to start these classes.  Our instructors have been certified to work with children.Parents are encouraged to stay for the class, its a great bonding experience. 

TEEN POLE FITNESS (12-17)

Teen Pole Fitness is a structured programme designed for boys and girls who want to tone up, get strong, learn some new skills, and develop their confidence. Think vertical gymnastics and you’ll get the picture. Under the guidance of a qualified fitness instructor and teacher, they will be using a pole to perform resistance training exercises and improve their flexibility. No gymnastics, sport or dance background is required to start this class.

Parental permission will be required in order to start these classes. Parents are encouraged to stay for this 60 minute class, its a great bonding experience. Our instructors have been certified to work with children. Class sizes are small so there is plenty of student teacher interaction.
